In a festive event at Graz, Austria, on 9 June 2022, IISL Lifetime Achievement awardee Prof. Dr. Christian Brünner academically celebrated his 80th birthday. At the event (programme here), dignitaries from Graz University and the Austrian and the regional government acknowledged the great achievements of Christian Brünner for establishing space law in academic research in Austria. The sixty-fifth session of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) this year is being held from 1 to 10 June 2022 in Vienna.
